Meaningful Social Responsibility
AMT Community Development was established in 2009 as a registered Non-Profit Company (NPC), an approved Section 18A Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) and a registered Non-Government Organisation (NGO). For strategic reasons and to increase our abilities to help those in need we underwent a name change and rebranding process to VISION 4 CHANGE. Our primary objective is to make a lasting impact by serving and uplifting the community through welfare and humanitarian work.
Vision is vital
With approval from Department of Education & Department of Health we:
- Screen & test learner’s vision and hearing at school
- Supply those identified with visual impairments with prescription spectacles
Sounds for life
With approval from Department of Education & Department of Health we:
- Screen and test learner’s hearing at school
- Supply those learners with hearing impairments with prescription hearing aids
Immunisations
- Assist and co-ordinate administering of immunisations with approval from Department of Education & Department of Health
- Booster dose of TD (Tetanus & Diphtheria) vaccine done for age 6 and 12 learners
- 2 x HPV (Human Papillomavirus) immunisations for girls in Grade 4 (10 yrs)
School upgrades
- Install playground equipment
- Install soccer goals and netball posts
- Perceptual upgrades in class rooms
- Structural upgrades
Safety
We educate youth & teachers on:
- Basic safety
- Basic first aid
- Basic fire-fighting skills
- Install safety equipment
